VB.NET Developer

In this crucial role, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing applications using Visual Basic .NET on the robust Microsoft .NET platform. As a VB.NET Developer at JRK Infotech, you will play a key role in the full software development lifecycle, from designing and coding to testing and deployment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance robust applications primarily using VB.NET, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas for SQL Server.
• Seamlessly integrate applications with various databases and external REST APIs/Web Services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues and software bugs efficiently to maintain system stability.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to develop new features and functionalities based on evolving business requirements.
• Conduct thorough unit and integration testing, and actively participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
• Manage and modernize existing legacy applications, ensuring their continued functionality and performance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience as a VB.NET Developer.
• Strong proficiency in VB.NET, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET MVC.
• Expertise in SQL Server, including advanced SQL query writing, stored procedures, and database management.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with data access technologies like ADO.NET and Entity Framework.
• Proven experience in integrating applications with REST APIs and other web services.
• Demonstrated ability to fix bugs, troubleshoot production issues, and perform thorough code reviews.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of 15 days or less are highly preferred for this role.
