Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive US mortgage accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry regulations.
• Perform meticulous account reconciliation for various financial ledgers and transactions.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, providing insights and ensuring compliance with reporting standards.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas for data analysis and reporting.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborate effectively within a remote team environment, maintaining excellent communication and organizational practices.
• Manage workload independently, prioritizing tasks, and consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant, hands-on experience specifically in US Mortgage Accounting.
• Demonstrated expertise in Account Reconciliation and Financial Reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex data analysis formulas.
• Proven strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with an eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective internal and external interaction.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Capability to work autonomously and maintain high productivity in a permanent work-from-home setting.
