US Collections Specialist

Provana is actively seeking a dedicated and results-oriented US Collections Specialist to join our thriving team in Noida. This full-time, in-office position is integral to our financial operations, focusing on managing and recovering outstanding debts from clients within the US market. Key Responsibilities

• Initiate contact with debtors through various communication channels including phone calls and emails to discuss outstanding balances.
• Negotiate and establish suitable payment plans or settlements, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Accurately document all interactions, collection activities, and payment agreements within the designated tracking systems.
• Analyze debtor accounts to identify reasons for delinquency and develop effective strategies for recovery.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service, fostering positive relationships even in challenging collection scenarios.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and report on collection performance, trends, and adherence to established targets.
• Ensure strict adherence to all federal and state collection laws, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).

Requirements

• A minimum of six (6) months of mandatory, hands-on experience in US collections processes.
• Open to both graduate and undergraduate candidates with the required experience.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients.
• Proven ability in negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving within a collections context.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with CRM or collections software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a strong focus on achieving collection goals.
• Comfortable with working rotational shifts and a 5-day work schedule with rotational offs.
