Key Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and meticulously execute comprehensive test cases, test objectives, test plans, and testing scenarios for critical healthcare information systems.
• Thoroughly test healthcare information systems designated for implementation within diverse clinical environments, ensuring robust functionality and reliability.
• Validate registration and clinical documentation capabilities specifically within the Altera Sunrise suite of clinical applications, confirming adherence to specifications.
• Conduct rigorous testing of integrations between various healthcare information systems, utilizing the Health Level 7 (HL7) standard to ensure seamless data exchange.
• Identify, accurately document, track, and actively support the timely resolution of all detected system defects and anomalies.
• Provide essential end-user support during acute care healthcare transformation initiatives, facilitating smooth transitions and user adoption.
• Support the comprehensive testing and successful implementation of systems designed for urgent care and emergency care environments.
• Assist in the testing and implementation of new systems and processes crucial for the establishment and operationalization of new healthcare facilities.
• Collaborate effectively with clinical, technical, operational, and project stakeholders to guarantee that all solutions meet critical business and patient-care requirements.

Requirements

• Possession of a recognized certification in software testing or quality assurance from esteemed bodies such as the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) or the International Institute for Software Testing, or a comparable governing body.
• Minimum of 10 years of direct experience in testing healthcare information systems that have been implemented in live clinical environments.
• At least 10 years of specialized experience testing the Altera Sunrise suite of clinical applications, with specific expertise in registration and clinical documentation functionality.
• A minimum of five years of experience in testing integrations between complex information systems utilizing the Health Level 7 (HL7) standard.
• Five years of experience providing critical end-user support during large-scale acute care healthcare transformation projects.
• A minimum of five years of experience in implementing or testing healthcare information systems specifically designed for urgent care or emergency care settings.
• At least one year of experience in testing and implementing systems and processes vital for the successful establishment of new healthcare facilities.
• Strong preference for candidates with 10 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst within a project environment, demonstrating proficiency in test execution and the creation of detailed test cases and objectives.
