Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement highly scalable and maintainable test automation frameworks from the ground up, primarily utilizing Playwright and TypeScript.
• Lead the architectural vision and strategy for comprehensive end-to-end test automation solutions across various applications.
• Provide expert mentorship and technical guidance to a team of automation engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
• Drive the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid feedback, continuous quality, and efficient release cycles.
• Oversee code reviews for automation scripts, ensuring adherence to coding standards, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities, mitigate risks, and maximize test coverage.
• Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance our overall test automation capabilities and efficiency.
• Contribute to the strategic planning and execution of test automation initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in software quality assurance and test automation, with a significant focus on architecture and framework development.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, capable of writing clean, efficient, and well-structured test scripts and framework components.
• Extensive practical experience with API automation and integrating automated tests seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding and practical application of DevOps principles and practices within a test automation context.
• Proven ability to analyze complex systems, identify automation bottlenecks, and propose effective, scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully mentoring technical teams.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
