Key Responsibilities

• Utilize Tekla Structures software to meticulously create, develop, and manage complex 3D models for a variety of Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications and engineering standards.
• Generate comprehensive and precise shop drawings, detailed fabrication drawings, and accurate erection drawings that are critical for manufacturing and on-site assembly processes.
• Engage in proactive coordination and effective communication with design engineers, project managers, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless integration of modeling efforts and accurate representation of design intent.
• Rigorously review and verify all Tekla models and associated documentation to ensure complete compliance with project-specific requirements, established industry standards, and relevant building codes and regulations.
• Provide essential and timely detailing support throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial conceptualization to final construction, playing a vital role in efficient project execution and delivery.
• Actively participate in project review meetings, offering technical insights, discussing potential challenges related to modeling, and proposing innovative solutions to optimize workflow and enhance project outcomes.
• Maintain an organized repository of models and drawings, ensuring version control and easy accessibility for all project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Demonstrable hands-on expertise and proficiency in utilizing Tekla Structures software for advanced 3D modeling and detailing, showcasing a deep understanding of its functionalities.
• A mandatory and extensive background within the Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) industry, with a clear understanding of its unique processes and requirements.
• A minimum of 3 to 10 years of professional experience in a relevant modeling or detailing role; candidates with at least 1 year of dedicated PEB experience will also be given consideration.
• Possession of a Bachelor of Engineering (BE), Bachelor of Technology (BTech), or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering from a recognized and accredited institution.
• A strong, fundamental understanding of structural detailing principles, steel connection design, and advanced steel modeling techniques is absolutely essential.
• The ability and commitment to work full-time from our office situated in the Ambattur area of Chennai, ensuring active team participation and collaboration.
• Excellent analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all modeling and drawing outputs.
