Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of senior Java Full Stack engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Drive the architectural design and strategic direction for complex industrial software solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring adherence to best practices in agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and code quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with global engineering leadership and stakeholders in Austria to align on product roadmaps and technical strategies.
• Contribute hands-on to critical technical challenges, demonstrating deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks.
• Champion the adoption of microservices architecture, cloud-native deployments, and robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Influence product development and strategic decisions for high-scale systems deployed in demanding logistics environments.

Requirements

• 10-15+ years of comprehensive experience in software development, with a minimum of 3-4 years in a management or leadership role overseeing developers.
• Profound expertise in Java backend development, including Spring Boot, and designing/implementing robust RESTful APIs.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular, with a preference for additional experience in Vue.js.
• Demonstrated understanding and practical application of microservices architecture, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, and high code quality standards.
• Experience with establishing and managing CI/CD pipelines and deploying cloud-native applications.
• Proven ability to manage global stakeholders and work effectively within international teams.
• A solid grasp of agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
