Technical Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor multiple engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
• Drive the technical strategy, architecture, and successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-quality cloud-native SaaS software solutions.
• Collaborate effectively with global product, business, and stakeholder teams to align engineering efforts with strategic goals and business objectives.
• Champion engineering best practices, including robust DevOps principles, agile methodologies, and modern cloud-native development paradigms.
• Oversee system design, conduct thorough code reviews, and ensure adherence to security standards, performance optimization, and architectural integrity for all developed applications.

Requirements

• A minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 5 years dedicated to an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead role.
• Demonstrable hands-on expertise with core technologies such as PHP, .NET/C#, AWS services, SQL, and Git.
• Proven experience with a range of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Strong practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, Microservices, and Serverless Architecture.
• In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), comprehensive system design principles, and modern engineering best practices.
• Prior experience in mentoring engineers, driving technical excellence, and collaborating effectively with diverse global stakeholders.
• Familiarity with additional technologies like Laravel, Flutter, Jenkins, Terraform, and Prompt Engineering is considered a significant advantage.
• Experience within the insurance domain will be highly regarded.
