As a Student Support Coordinator, you will be instrumental in guiding students through various processes, from initial enrollment to ongoing academic progress and administrative requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive academic and administrative support to students, effectively utilizing online telecommunication channels and email to address queries and provide timely assistance.
- Act as a primary point of contact, liaising with relevant internal departments and external parties to resolve student-related issues and facilitate necessary support services.
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date student records, ensuring meticulous data entry and adherence to privacy protocols and VET standards.
- Assist students with critical administrative processes, including visa extension applications, new enrollments, and re-enrollment procedures, guiding them through each step.
- Ensure strict compliance with the established Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) standards across all student interactions and administrative functions.
- Monitor and oversee students' academic progress, offering guidance and connecting them with resources to support their learning and development.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment by proactively identifying student needs and offering solutions to enhance their overall experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in any academic discipline.
- Demonstrated strong service mindset and a genuine customer-focused attitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in record-keeping and administrative tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including strong command of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with a diverse student body and colleagues.
- Ability to adapt to different work schedules and flexible working hours as required to meet operational demands.
