Software Quality Assurance Analyst

Topsys IT is seeking a dedicated and experienced Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest quality of our software products through advanced automation testing methodologies. Based in Boise, ID, this position offers a hybrid work model, with a preference for local candidates who can collaborate both remotely and potentially on-site for key meetings or initiatives. As a Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and executing robust test automation strategies, playing a pivotal role in our continuous delivery pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive automated test scripts and regression suites using industry-leading tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
• Contribute to and maintain scalable test automation frameworks to ensure efficient and effective testing cycles.
• Actively apply Test Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) principles within the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and other QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to identify testing needs and integrate quality early.
• Utilize Java programming for developing sophisticated test automation solutions and enhancing existing test infrastructure.
• Evaluate and integrate innovative AI-powered tools and techniques to develop and execute automated test cases, improving testing efficiency and coverage.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall software quality and release velocity.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience in software automation testing and quality assurance roles.
• Demonstrable expertise in test automation tools, including Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, and JUnit.
• Solid understanding and practical application of Test Driven Development (TDD), Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD), and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Strong proficiency in Java programming for test automation and scripting.
• Experience working effectively within an Agile/Scrum development methodology.
• Familiarity with implementing and maintaining framework components that support advanced test execution.
• Experience or a strong interest in leveraging AI to enhance the development and execution of automated test cases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
