As a **SOC Analyst** at Paralok, you will play a vital role in our Security Operations Center, monitoring security events, responding to incidents, and contributing to the overall enhancement of our security infrastructure. You will work within a dynamic environment, utilizing advanced tools and methodologies to identify, analyze, and mitigate cyber threats, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform real-time monitoring and analysis of security events from various sources, including SIEM, EDR, and network logs.
• Investigate security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and execute appropriate response actions to contain and eradicate threats.
• Utilize threat intelligence feeds to proactively identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security alerts, dashboards, and reports to improve visibility and detection capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to implement security best practices and incident prevention measures.
• Participate in vulnerability management activities, including scanning, assessment, and remediation tracking.
• Document security incidents, procedures, and knowledge base articles for continuous improvement.
• Stay current with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and attack vectors.
• Contribute to the enhancement of SOC playbooks and operational processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, or similar cybersecurity role.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, common attack vectors, and incident response methodologies.
• Proficiency with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack) and EDR solutions.
• Solid knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) and operating systems (Linux, Windows).
• Experience with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, SANS GIAC) are a plus.
