Senior Snowflake Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and optimize robust data pipelines and data warehousing solutions using Snowflake.
• Implement and manage ETL/ELT processes utilizing tools like Fivetran, DBT, Dagster, and DLT (Delta Live Tables).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data platforms.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation and analysis within the Snowflake ecosystem.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers, fostering a culture of best practices and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, optimizing performance for large-scale data processing.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in Snowflake Data Engineering.
• Mandatory: SnowPro Core Certification – profiles without this certification will not be considered.
• Demonstrable expertise with Snowflake data warehousing and cloud data engineering principles.
• Strong proficiency and practical experience with DBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation.
• Experience with orchestration tools such as Dagster.
• Familiarity and practical application of DLT (Delta Live Tables).
• Proven experience with data integration platforms like Fivetran.
• Exceptional proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
• Ability to join immediately or with a very short notice period.
