As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our infrastructure landscape, implementing best practices for system reliability, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver robust solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and optimizing our cloud-native environments, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient infrastructure and services, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Lead the automation of operational tasks, infrastructure provisioning, and deployment pipelines using Python and Shell scripting to enhance efficiency.
• Manage, monitor, and optimize large-scale Kubernetes clusters, focusing on end-to-end architecture, performance, and security.
• Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, or similar platforms.
• Conduct thorough root cause analysis for production incidents, implement preventative measures, and contribute to post-mortem discussions.
• Collaborate closely with development teams from design phase to production to ensure reliability, scalability, and maintainability of applications.
• Contribute to the evolution of system architecture, design principles, and operational best practices within the SRE team.
• Participate in on-call rotations and proactively identify areas for improvement in system reliability and operational workflows.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6+ years of hands-on experience in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or a closely related DevOps role.
• Strong expertise in Linux system administration, including deep troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
• Comprehensive understanding and practical experience with Kubernetes, covering end-to-end architecture, deployment, and management.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python and Shell scripting, for automation and system management.
• Demonstrated experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics, or the ELK Stack.
• Solid understanding of system architecture and design principles for building scalable and reliable distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
