As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Peoplefy, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our services. You will leverage your extensive expertise to enhance system reliability, improve observability, and automate operational workflows. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain highly available, scalable, and resilient cloud-native systems and services.
• Drive automation initiatives for infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks using scripting languages like Python and Shell Scripting.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, including architecture, deployment strategies, and troubleshooting.
• Implement and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, or the ELK Stack to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Perform in-depth troubleshooting and debugging of complex production incidents across Linux-based environments and distributed systems.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate reliability principles into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from design to deployment.
• Contribute to the architectural evolution of our platform, ensuring best practices in reliability, security, and performance.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support our critical systems, ensuring swift resolution of production issues.

Requirements

• 6+ years of demonstrable experience in a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Linux operating systems, including advanced troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes, encompassing end-to-end architecture, deployment, and management of containerized applications.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python and Shell Scripting, for automation and system management.
• Deep understanding of system architecture, design principles, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience with industry-leading monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, AppDynamics, or the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
