Senior DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for various applications, ensuring automated and efficient software delivery.
• Administer, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
• Develop and maintain build automation scripts and tools for Android applications, including the efficient generation of APK/AAB files using Gradle and Android Studio, ensuring seamless integration into CI/CD workflows.
• Implement and manage configuration management tools to standardize environments and automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Proactively monitor system health, performance metrics, and security vulnerabilities, responding to incidents and implementing preventative measures.
• Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and operations teams to foster a culture of shared responsibility and continuous improvement.
• Ensure robust version control practices (Git) and manage release processes, branching strategies, and deployment cycles.
• Integrate comprehensive testing (performance, functional, security) into pipelines to ensure code quality and system reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field, or equivalent demonstrated practical experience.
• A minimum of 4 to 6 years of progressive professional experience in a dedicated DevOps Engineering role, with a strong focus on CI/CD and cloud platform management.
• Demonstrable hands-on expertise with a wide range of AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation languages such as Bash and Python is essential for developing robust automation solutions.
• Extensive experience working with modern version control systems like Git and leading CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).
• Practical knowledge of Android build systems, including build automation processes for APK/AAB using Gradle, is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
