Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimizing our development lifecycle, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the seamless deployment of our applications. You will work closely with development and QA teams to implement best practices, automate critical processes, and foster a culture of reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, including services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes, with specific expertise in Android build systems (Gradle, Android Studio, APK/AAB).
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation and configuration management using languages such as Bash and Python.
• Implement and manage version control systems (Git) and integrate with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI.
• Oversee the containerization and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure scalability and efficiency.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security through effective logging, alerting, and incident response mechanisms.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to integrate reliability engineering concepts into the development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in a DevOps engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with core DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline design and release management.
• Demonstrated expertise with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch) and general cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python, along with experience in configuration management tools.
• Extensive experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Practical knowledge of Android build systems and tools (e.g., Gradle, Android Studio) is essential.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of reliability engineering concepts and the integration of performance, functional, and security testing into pipelines.
