Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and quality of data pipelines, contributing significantly to our data analytics capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines using industry-leading tools like Databricks, Snowflake, and Apache Airflow.
• Implement and manage complex ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load large datasets from various sources.
• Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions, ensuring data integrity, security, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive measures to ensure operational efficiency.
• Leverage Azure Cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, to build and manage robust cloud-native data solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data architecture and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-intensive role.
• Must-have expert-level proficiency in Databricks and Snowflake.
• Strong command over SQL for data manipulation, querying, and optimization.
• Extensive experience with Python for data engineering tasks, scripting, and automation.
• Demonstrated experience with DBT Cloud, Apache Airflow, and a deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes.
• Solid experience with Azure Cloud architecture and services, particularly Azure Data Factory.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and big data analytics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
