Senior Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover significant trends, patterns, and deliver actionable business insights that inform strategic direction.
• Design and develop interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports primarily using Power BI to effectively visualize key performance indicators and communicate findings.
• Craft and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction, transformation, and in-depth analysis from various data sources, ensuring accuracy and performance.
• Collaborate closely with product, development, and business stakeholders to deeply understand their requirements and provide data-driven solutions that align with strategic objectives.
• Build, maintain, and refine data models, establish robust Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and generate regular performance reports to monitor business health and progress.
• Conduct rigorous statistical analysis to support critical business decision-making processes and validate hypotheses with empirical evidence.
• Ensure the highest level of data accuracy, integrity, and quality across all reporting and analytical systems, implementing best practices for data governance.
• Mentor and guide junior data analysts, fostering their growth and contributing to the continuous improvement of data analysis processes and methodologies within the team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within an IT or software development company.
• Exceptional proficiency in SQL for advanced querying, data manipulation, and optimization of large datasets.
• Advanced skills in Excel for comprehensive data cleaning, analysis, modeling, and effective reporting.
• Demonstrated expertise in Power BI for developing compelling dashboards, reports, and interactive data visualizations.
• Solid theoretical and practical understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling principles, and effective data visualization techniques.
• Proven experience working with diverse relational databases and adeptness at handling large, complex datasets.
• Strong analytical acumen, superior problem-solving capabilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex data insights.
• Ability to thrive both independently and as a collaborative member of cross-functional teams, driving projects to successful completion.
• Prior experience in team handling or mentoring junior analysts is considered a significant advantage, demonstrating leadership potential.
