Senior Backend Engineer

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Ant-Tech, you will be instrumental in shaping the technological backbone of our products. You'll work on challenging projects that demand innovative solutions in a collaborative and fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of highly scalable and resilient backend services and core platform infrastructure.
• Architect and implement sophisticated distributed systems, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and optimal performance.
• Develop robust APIs and integrate seamlessly with various data stores, third-party services, and internal systems.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, and message queue management.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other engineering teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers, contribute to code reviews, and champion engineering excellence across the team.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Demonstrable expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Go, or Java.
• Strong track record of building and managing complex distributed systems.
• Proficient understanding and practical experience with event-driven architectures, asynchronous systems, and message queues.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, specifically AWS and/or GCP.
• Solid experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs, along with strong database experience (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with workflow or orchestration engines is considered a significant advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
