Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks and test suites for complex applications.
• Lead the implementation of comprehensive UI Automation and Backend Automation strategies to ensure full test coverage.
• Perform in-depth debugging, root cause analysis, and resolution of software defects.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and other QA teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Contribute to manual testing efforts when necessary to ensure comprehensive quality assurance.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in test automation and quality engineering.
• Evaluate and implement new testing tools and technologies to enhance automation capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, methodologies, and quality metrics across projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4-8 years of hands-on experience as an Automation QA Engineer or similar role.
• Proven expertise with WebDriverIO, TypeScript, and Python for developing automated tests.
• Demonstrated ability to build, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong background in both UI Automation and Backend Automation testing, including API testing.
• Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Comfortable supporting manual testing activities as and when required to meet project demands.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies.
• Bonus Points: Prior experience in the ERP domain or exposure to AI-enabled testing tools and techniques.
