Kforce Inc. is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced ScienceLogic SME to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in ScienceLogic SL1 to contribute to critical infrastructure monitoring and optimization projects. We are looking for immediate joiners who can bring their expertise in virtualized environments and seamless system integrations to our hybrid work model in Pune.

As a ScienceLogic Subject Matter Expert, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust monitoring solutions for our enterprise clients. Your deep understanding of ScienceLogic's capabilities, coupled with your proficiency in VMware technologies and integration with key ITSM tools like ServiceNow and Splunk, will be vital in ensuring optimal performance and availability of complex IT infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and administration of ScienceLogic SL1 platforms to ensure comprehensive infrastructure monitoring.
• Develop and deploy advanced monitoring solutions utilizing ScienceLogic Dynamic Applications and Event Policies tailored to specific client needs.
• Configure, optimize, and fine-tune monitoring templates and alert thresholds to minimize false positives and enhance actionable insights.
• Drive the integration of ScienceLogic with critical enterprise systems, including ServiceNow for incident management and Splunk for log analysis.
• Conduct in-depth infrastructure monitoring and performance optimization across diverse virtualized environments, specifically leveraging VMware, vSphere, vCenter, and VCF.
• Provide expert-level troubleshooting and resolution for complex issues related to ScienceLogic, integrated systems, and underlying infrastructure.
• Serve as a primary technical resource and mentor, sharing knowledge and best practices for ScienceLogic SL1 implementation and operation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring strategies and operational excellence within the IT infrastructure domain.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on, progressive experience as a ScienceLogic SME or in a similar infrastructure monitoring role.
• Demonstrable expertise in ScienceLogic SL1, including its core architecture, module management, and reporting capabilities.
• Extensive practical experience with VMware technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, and VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).
• Proficient in developing and managing ScienceLogic Dynamic Applications, Event Policies, Monitoring Templates, and advanced Alert Tuning.
• Proven experience in integrating ScienceLogic with other enterprise tools such as ServiceNow and Splunk.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, network protocols, operating systems, and database systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Immediate availability to join is highly preferred.
