Robot Programmer

As a Robot Programmer, you will be instrumental in designing, programming, and deploying advanced robotic and automation systems for various industrial applications. You will work alongside senior engineers, ensuring the seamless integration and optimal performance of complex hardware and software components. Key Responsibilities

• Provide essential support to senior engineers throughout the system development lifecycle, from concept to commissioning.
• Execute comprehensive I/O testing and perform precise hardware configuration for industrial automation systems.
• Conduct rigorous shop floor testing, trials, and system proving to validate functionality and reliability.
• Oversee Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) execution and provide critical on-site support to ensure successful system deployment.
• Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
• Develop and implement robotic programs for leading industrial robot brands such as ABB, Fanuc, and Yaskawa.
• Integrate and configure vision systems from vendors like Cognex, Sick, and Banner for quality control and process automation.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required for site commissioning and support activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics engineering.
• A minimum of 2 to 8 years of proven experience in industrial automation, robotics, or control systems programming.
• Proficiency in PLC/HMI/SCADA programming platforms, including Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens, and Mitsubishi.
• Demonstrated experience in programming industrial robots (ABB, Fanuc, Yaskawa) and configuring vision systems (Cognex, Sick, Banner).
• Solid understanding of VFD/Servo drives (Rockwell, Siemens, Festo, SEW, Parker, Lenze, Rexroth) and their applications.
• Strong hardware knowledge of industrial sensors (Sick, Leuze, Wenglor, P&F), safety components (E-Stop, Light Curtain, Pilz/Pizzato), and process instruments (Wika, E&H, Emerson).
• Competency in PLC programming languages such as Ladder, FBD, STL, and experience with AOI, Faceplate, Global Object, Reporting, and SQL.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, for project commissioning.
