Key Responsibilities

• Diligent adherence to and enforcement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across various categories, including but not limited to Fruits & Vegetables, Bakery & Dairy Essentials (BDE), and Meat products.
• Proactive monitoring and maintenance of stringent quality standards and hygiene protocols throughout all stages of product handling, storage, and preparation within the Zepto store.
• Regular inspection of product storage conditions, temperature controls, and inventory rotation to prevent spoilage and ensure optimal freshness.
• Conducting thorough checks on incoming and outgoing inventory to verify product quality, quantity, and compliance with Zepto's specifications.
• Identifying and addressing potential quality issues promptly, escalating concerns to management when necessary, and contributing to problem-solving efforts.
• Collaborating with store teams to implement best practices for product display, organization, and overall store cleanliness to enhance the customer experience.
• Contributing to an outstanding customer experience by ensuring that all products meet the highest quality benchmarks before reaching our customers.
• Assisting in training new team members on quality control procedures and best practices to foster a culture of quality.

Requirements

• Prior experience in quality control, retail operations, or a similar role is a plus, but freshers with a strong eagerness to learn are highly encouraged to apply.
• A keen eye for detail and a meticulous approach to work, with the ability to identify subtle discrepancies and potential quality issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Ability to understand and strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Demonstrated passion for maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and product quality.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by operational needs.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to take initiative to improve processes and outcomes.
