QA Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
• Create, execute, and manage comprehensive automated test plans and test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
• Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure testability.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving test automation best practices and methodologies.
• Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools and technologies to enhance our automation capabilities.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Test Automation Engineer or similar QA role.
• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Extensive experience with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured) and concepts.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid knowledge of SQL for database testing and data validation.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
