QA Test Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive UI automation frameworks primarily using Java and Selenium.
• Implement efficient and reliable API automation tests utilizing tools and frameworks such as Rest Assured.
• Conduct thorough database testing to ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance.
• Integrate test automation suites seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and accelerated software delivery.
• Actively explore and apply expertise in AI and Generative AI to evolve test strategies, optimize test case generation, and enhance defect prediction.
• Research, develop, and implement innovative Agentic Testing methodologies for intelligent and adaptive test execution.
• Collaborate closely with development, product management, and other QA teams to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects promptly and effectively.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior automation engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in Test Automation Engineering, with a proven track record in both UI and API testing.
• Strong proficiency in Java and extensive experience with UI automation frameworks like Selenium.
• Demonstrated expertise in REST API automation and experience with tools such as Rest Assured.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and practical experience with SQL for effective database testing.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and practices for integrating automated tests.
• Proven experience or a strong interest and foundational understanding of applying AI and Generative AI in testing contexts.
• Familiarity with or a strong desire to learn and implement Agentic Testing principles and practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment.
