QA Manual Engineer

Relq Technologies is urgently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Manual Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join our dynamic remote team in India. As a crucial member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through rigorous manual testing methodologies. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements and design specifications.
• Perform various types of manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, track, and prioritize software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking systems.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and test plan reviews to ensure testability and quality from early stages.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall QA efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure that all testing activities adhere to established quality standards and project timelines.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates to the project team and management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a QA Manual Engineer or similar role in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing and executing detailed test cases and test plans.
• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Bugzilla) and test management tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL for data validation is a plus.
• Knowledge of API testing concepts and tools (e.g., Postman) for manual validation.
