QA Lead

As a QA Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our testing strategies, mentoring QA engineers, and directly contributing to our product's success. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 7 years of experience who is ready to take ownership of the QA process within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, define, and implement comprehensive quality assurance strategies and testing frameworks across various projects.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing efforts.
• Perform hands-on manual and automation testing using modern tools and technologies, including Python and Playwright.
• Collaborate closely with product management, development, and other cross-functional teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, best practices, and high-quality standards.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working with development teams to ensure timely resolution and re-verification.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Report on test progress, defect status, and overall product quality to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
• Demonstrated expertise in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing principles and practices.
• Hands-on proficiency in designing and implementing automation test frameworks using Python and Playwright.
• Proven experience functioning effectively as both an Individual Contributor and a Team Lead within a QA capacity.
• Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred) and QA best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical issues clearly.
• Candidates must be available for a mandatory Face-to-Face (F2F) discussion during the final interview round at our Indiranagar, Bangalore office.
• Ability to join within an immediate to 30-day notice period.
