QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks using C# .NET.
• Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies with Gherkin syntax for clear, collaborative test scenarios.
• Perform comprehensive API testing to ensure the reliability and performance of backend services.
• Conduct thorough UI testing, automating user interface interactions to identify defects and ensure a seamless user experience.
• Execute backend testing, including database validation (Oracle) and business logic verification.
• Integrate automated tests into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to support rapid and frequent releases.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and work with developers to resolve them efficiently.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, tools, and methodologies within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE/B.Tech) or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Proficiency in C# .NET for developing automation scripts and frameworks.
• Strong experience with BDD and Gherkin for test case definition.
• Demonstrable expertise in API testing tools and techniques.
• Proven ability to perform UI automation testing.
• Solid understanding of backend testing principles, including database testing with Oracle.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
