As a QA Automation Engineer at JigNect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of our software products. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
• Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and identify defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, to ensure quality is embedded from the start.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and cases.
• Continuously research and implement best practices in test automation to improve efficiency, coverage, and reliability.
• Contribute to the enhancement of existing automation frameworks and mentor junior team members in automation methodologies.
• Perform manual testing when necessary, to complement automated test coverage and explore edge cases.

Requirements

• 0-2 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance or Test Automation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java or Python.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools like Selenium.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• A genuine passion for quality assurance and a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies.
