Python Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement high-performance web frameworks using Python, specifically leveraging Flask and FastAPI.
• Build and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to support various applications.
• Implement efficient and reliable data transformation pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
• Work extensively with Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs) such as SQLAlchemy and Django ORM, and interact with both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and data scientists, to ensure seamless integration of systems.
• Ensure the highest standards of code quality through comprehensive unit testing, debugging, and adherence to CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) best practices.
• Contribute to the deployment and management of cloud-native solutions on Azure and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
• A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on, professional experience in core Python programming and developing with web frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture, asynchronous programming paradigms (e.g., asyncio), and API security protocols (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
• Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, utilizing Git for version control, and familiarity with general DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, and a foundational understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Apache Spark and Kafka is considered a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
