Python Developer

Are you an experienced Python Developer (Backend) looking for a challenging remote opportunity to build cutting-edge cloud-native applications? JuMiva is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Developer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This is an exciting chance to leverage your 8-9 years of expertise in Python and AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services from anywhere in India, with a clear path to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services using Python.
• Architect and implement sophisticated RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures to support various applications.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure efficiently using AWS CDK, ensuring secure and resilient deployments.
• Develop, deploy, and optimize serverless applications leveraging AWS Lambda and API Gateway for maximum efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver innovative and high-quality software solutions.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud-based applications for cost-efficiency and reliability.
• Actively participate in code reviews, contribute to comprehensive testing strategies, and enhance CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• 8-9 years of extensive hands-on experience in Python development, with a strong focus on backend systems and scalable architectures.
• Proven track record in designing, building, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Event-Driven Architecture and various messaging systems.
• Extensive proficiency with core AWS services, including but not limited to Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.
• Demonstrated expertise in infrastructure as code using AWS CDK.
• Experience in developing and deploying serverless applications in a production environment.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and best practices.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as DataDog and Splunk is considered a significant plus.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and comfort working within Agile development methodologies.
