Production Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and continuously optimize all facets of manufacturing operations for a diverse range of personal care and hygiene products, consistently ensuring that production targets are met with maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Strategically develop and meticulously implement robust production plans, detailed schedules, and innovative operational strategies designed to maximize output, streamline manufacturing processes, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
• Implement and rigorously maintain stringent quality control systems and standards across all production stages, guaranteeing that all manufactured products consistently meet and exceed required industry specifications and internal quality benchmarks.
• Effectively manage, mentor, train, and motivate production teams, fostering a collaborative culture of high performance, accountability, safety, and continuous professional development among all team members.
• Closely monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production volume, quality compliance, operational productivity, and manufacturing costs, implementing timely and effective corrective actions as necessary to achieve superior operational outcomes.
• Proactively drive initiatives focused on significant wastage reduction, process improvement, and cost optimization across all production lines, contributing directly to enhanced overall operational efficiency and profitability.
• Champion the widespread adoption and strict adherence to Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S methodologies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout the entire production facility.
• Cultivate strong, effective working relationships and ensure seamless coordination with critical cross-functional departments, including Quality Assurance (QA), Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to ensure uninterrupted operations and timely product delivery.
• Leverage comprehensive knowledge and practical experience with ERP systems for precise production planning, efficient inventory management, accurate operational reporting, and data-driven decision-making processes.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive and hands-on experience in a dedicated production management or senior supervisory role within the Paper, Packaging, Perfume, Tissue, Nonwoven, or closely related manufacturing industries.
• Demonstrated profound knowledge and extensive practical experience in strategic production planning, advanced process optimization techniques, and the successful implementation of comprehensive quality management systems.
• Proven ability to effectively manage, lead, and inspire large production teams, consistently set and achieve challenging KPIs, drive significant productivity improvements, and expertly control wastage throughout the manufacturing cycle.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with the practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), implementation of 5S methodologies, and a commitment to continuous improvement initiatives.
• High proficiency in utilizing modern ERP systems for production oversight and strong, effective coordination skills to liaise seamlessly with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Supply Chain departments.
• Prior valuable experience working specifically within a manufacturing environment in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
