Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily production and manufacturing operations to meet targets and deadlines.
• Supervise and execute fabrication and welding processes, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Manage assembly and installation procedures for various industrial and mechanical equipment.
• Provide effective shop floor supervision, mentoring, and guiding the production team to maximize output and efficiency.
• Develop and implement robust production planning strategies to optimize resource utilization and workflow.
• Drive continuous quality and process improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as KAIZEN and Root Cause Analysis.
• Ensure meticulous ISO documentation and compliance across all manufacturing activities.
• Operate and oversee processes involving Lathe, Milling, and Drilling machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve production-related challenges.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in production and manufacturing operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in fabrication and welding techniques.
• Proven experience in assembly and installation processes within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in shop floor supervision and team management.
• Proficiency in production planning and scheduling.
• Solid understanding and practical application of quality and process improvement methodologies like KAIZEN and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience with ISO documentation and compliance procedures.
• Competency in operating or overseeing Lathe, Milling, and Drilling machine processes.
• Preferred industry experience includes Industrial Machinery, Heavy Engineering, Structural Fabrication, Material Handling Equipment, or Mechanical Equipment Manufacturing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
