Power BI Tech Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of sophisticated Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Architect robust data models, including Star Schema, to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and data integrity within Power BI.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and develop effective data visualization solutions.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and deliver insights that drive strategic outcomes.
• Perform advanced data analysis using SQL, DAX, and Power Query to identify trends, patterns, and key performance indicators.
• Manage and optimize data pipelines and data warehousing solutions, specifically utilizing Snowflake.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior developers on best practices in Power BI development and data analytics.
• Ensure the highest standards of data quality, governance, and security across all Power BI solutions.

Requirements

• A minimum of 9 to 12 years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, with significant hands-on experience as a Power BI developer and leader.
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including intricate DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and report development.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, data extraction, and integration.
• Expert-level SQL skills for data manipulation, querying, and optimization.
• Strong understanding and practical application of data modeling principles, with a preference for Star Schema design.
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions that meet complex business needs.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
