Oracle Cloud OTL PPM Functional Consultant

As an Oracle Cloud OTL PPM Functional Consultant, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business requirements and Oracle Cloud capabilities. You will work closely with clients to understand their operational needs, translate them into functional specifications, and configure Oracle Cloud solutions to optimize their time tracking and project management processes. Your contributions will directly impact client success through efficient and effective Oracle Cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in requirement gathering sessions with clients to understand business processes and pain points related to Time & Labor (OTL) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
• Perform detailed functional analysis and design for Oracle Cloud OTL and PPM implementations, ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Configure and set up Oracle Cloud OTL and PPM modules, including workflow definitions, project structures, task management, and time entry rules.
• Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide expert production support post-go-live, troubleshooting issues and ensuring system stability and performance for the Oracle Cloud OTL PPM Functional Consultant role.
• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations between Oracle Cloud and other enterprise systems.
• Create detailed documentation, including functional design documents, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
• Stay current with Oracle Cloud updates and new features, advising clients on potential enhancements and improvements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ years of hands-on functional experience with Oracle Cloud Time and Labor (OTL) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules.
• Proven expertise in requirement gathering, functional analysis, design, and configuration within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
• Demonstrable experience in the full lifecycle of Oracle Cloud implementations, from design to go-live and post-production support.
• Strong understanding of business processes related to time entry, project costing, project billing, and project management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with testing methodologies and UAT facilitation.
• Familiarity with integration concepts and REST API principles.
