Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Node.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Build secure and efficient RESTful APIs, facilitating seamless integration with frontend systems and third-party services.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver comprehensive, high-quality software solutions.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries for both SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB) databases to support application needs.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following industry best practices and participate actively in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments efficiently.
• Contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives within an Agile development framework.
• Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Focus on application security, scalability, and performance optimization across all development phases.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of hands-on professional experience specifically in Node.js development, demonstrating a proven track record.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including a deep understanding of asynchronous programming paradigms.
• Extensive experience with popular Node.js frameworks such as Express.js.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with REST APIs, JSON, and complex API integrations.
• Proficiency in designing and interacting with both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB) databases.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms like JWT and OAuth.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly advantageous.
• Understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is a plus.
