Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance backend services using Node.js and frameworks like Express.js or NestJS.
• Architect and implement robust REST API endpoints, ensuring secure authentication and authorization flows.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across our backend systems.
• Collaborate effectively with frontend developers to define API contracts and ensure seamless integration.
• Work with modern database technologies such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and efficient querying.
• Utilize caching mechanisms like Redis to enhance application responsiveness and reduce database load.
• Contribute to cloud deployment strategies, ensuring efficient and secure infrastructure management.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in software development.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in backend development, primarily with Node.js.
• Demonstrable expertise with Node.js frameworks, including Express.js and/or NestJS.
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with designing and consuming RESTful APIs, along with authentication and authorization protocols.
• Proven track record in performance optimization and building scalable backend architectures.
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies, particularly React, including Server-Side Rendering (SSR) concepts and the component lifecycle.
• Extensive experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Good exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
