Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and meticulously maintain robust and high-performing frontend and backend components for our flagship startup product, ensuring a seamless user experience and solid architectural foundation.
• Implement, integrate, and manage efficient RESTful APIs and database systems (SQL/NoSQL) to facilitate data exchange and ensure the integrity and responsiveness of our applications.
• Collaborate closely with product management, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to understand requirements, translate complex concepts into technical specifications, and deliver innovative new product features.
• Conduct comprehensive testing, rigorous debugging, and proactive optimization of existing and new codebases to ensure maximum performance, reliability, security, and scalability across all platforms.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adhering to best practices, coding standards, and architectural patterns to maintain high code quality.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features, from initial brainstorming and design through development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, ensuring a smooth and efficient delivery pipeline.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and infrastructure, staying abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and availability of our production systems.

Requirements

• Strong programming fundamentals across various languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java) with an excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
• Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience in both frontend development (e.g., HTML, CSS, modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend development (e.g., Node.js, Express.js, Django, Spring Boot).
• Proficiency in designing, implementing, and consuming REST APIs, along with experience in database integration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity and practical experience with version control systems, specifically Git and platforms like GitHub, for collaborative software development and code management.
• A profound problem-solving mindset, capable of approaching complex technical challenges with creativity, analytical rigor, and a solution-oriented approach.
