MIS Reconciliation Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
• Systematically collect, validate, and analyze extensive banking and financial data from various sources to identify trends and potential issues.
• Generate comprehensive reports using advanced Excel functionalities, SQL queries, and dedicated reporting tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Uphold the highest standards of data integrity and accuracy across all financial systems and reporting platforms.
• Design and create insightful dashboards and professional presentations for stakeholders, clearly communicating complex financial data.
• Provide crucial support for all reconciliation activities and assist in the preparation of robust financial reporting packages.
• Proactively identify data trends, investigate discrepancies, and propose process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, and business development, to gather reporting requirements and ensure alignment.
• Ensure the timely submission of all reports and maintain strict compliance with internal policies, regulatory guidelines, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, and financial reconciliation, preferably within banking or financial operations.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and Macros for automation.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and report generation is highly desirable.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a significant advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all reporting and reconciliation tasks.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• Candidates with strong Excel automation and comprehensive reporting experience will be given preference.
