Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Power BI dashboards and interactive reports to meet diverse business requirements.
• Write complex DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) queries and functions to create calculated columns, measures, and tables for advanced data analysis.
• Connect to various data sources, including relational databases and cloud platforms, and perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, understand their analytical needs, and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
• Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for performance, scalability, and enhanced user experience.
• Implement and manage data security, role-level security, and access control within Power BI reports and published datasets.
• Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to end-users on Power BI functionalities, best practices, and data interpretation.
• Stay abreast of the latest Power BI features, updates, and industry best practices to continuously improve our business intelligence capabilities and offerings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar Business Intelligence role.
• Demonstrable expertise in designing, developing, and deploying compelling Power BI reports and interactive dashboards.
• Strong proficiency in DAX for creating advanced calculations, custom measures, and solving complex data challenges.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and querying relational databases.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional data modeling techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with both technical teams and non-technical business users.
