Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.
• Connect to various data sources, perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using Power Query.
• Develop complex DAX queries and M-language scripts for advanced calculations and data manipulation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and data analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Optimize Power BI reports for performance and scalability.
• Implement row-level security and other data governance best practices within Power BI.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer with a strong portfolio of implemented BI solutions.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and DAX.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
