Key Responsibilities

• Proactively engage with business stakeholders to thoroughly understand, document, and translate complex business requirements into technical specifications for Business Intelligence solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models that provide clear, intuitive, and actionable insights for various business units.
• Utilize expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to create sophisticated measures, calculated columns, and tables, ensuring data accuracy and analytical depth.
• Implement robust Power Query (M language) transformations to cleanse, shape, and integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Optimize the performance of Power BI reports and dashboards, employing best practices for data refresh, query efficiency, and user experience.
• Configure and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) within Power BI to ensure data governance and compliance with organizational security policies.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, and business users, to deliver comprehensive end-to-end BI solutions.
• Provide expert user training and support for Power BI applications, fostering data literacy and adoption among business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated professional experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar Business Intelligence role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including report development, dashboard creation, and dataset management.
• Strong command of DAX and Power Query (M language) for complex data manipulation and analytical calculations.
• Solid experience with SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from various relational databases.
• Proven ability in data modeling, including designing star schemas, snowflake schemas, and understanding dimensional modeling concepts.
• Experience with report performance optimization techniques, query tuning, and best practices for large datasets.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Basic to intermediate exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Databricks or Azure Data Factory (ADF) is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
