Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that meet business requirements.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions, ensuring optimal database performance and data retrieval efficiency.
• Develop and implement advanced DAX calculations and Power Query transformations to create robust and scalable data models.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and data analysts to understand reporting needs and translate them into effective Power BI solutions.
• Oversee ETL processes and data integration efforts to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely data availability for reporting.
• Manage Power BI Service workspaces, datasets, and gateways, including security and access control.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, governance, and overall report performance across all developed solutions.
• Actively participate in the full lifecycle of data analytics projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar Business Intelligence role.
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI dashboard and report development, including visualization best practices.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing, performance tuning, optimization, and stored procedure creation.
• Strong command of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query M language for data modeling and transformation.
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes.
• Experience with Power BI Service administration and gateway management.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
