MERN Stack Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable web applications from end-to-end using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) technology stack.
• Develop and implement efficient, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and fellow engineers throughout the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, and highly efficient code, adhering to industry best practices, coding standards, and security principles.
• Conduct comprehensive testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure the reliability, responsiveness, and scalability of applications.
• Manage and optimize MongoDB database schemas, ensuring data integrity, security, and efficient querying for diverse application needs.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality improvement within the team.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in web technologies, MERN stack components, and best practices, integrating relevant innovations to enhance our product offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of professional experience as a MERN Stack Developer or a similar full-stack role.
• Demonstrated expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js, Express.js, and React, including popular libraries and state management patterns.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.
• Strong understanding of front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with modern development tools and methodologies, including Git for version control, package managers (npm/yarn), and build tools (Webpack/Vite).
• Ability to design, develop, and consume RESTful APIs effectively.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines for application deployment is highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration in a remote, team-oriented environment.
