Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to production schedules for our beloved bakery products.
  • Implement and manage robust preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure optimal plant reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Effectively manage raw material, packaging material, and spare parts inventory, ensuring seamless supply chain operations and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all food safety regulations, quality standards, and operational guidelines across all manufacturing activities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop teams of supervisors and executives, fostering a culture of high performance, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive process optimization initiatives, identifying areas for improvement in production, maintenance, and materials management.
  • Coordinate procurement activities for technical stores and manage warehouse operations to maintain optimal stock levels and accuracy.
  • Contribute to a safe, productive, and inclusive work environment, upholding Bimbo Bakeries India's core values.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Food Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of experience in the food manufacturing sector, specifically in production, maintenance, raw material/packaging material management, or technical stores.
  • Demonstrated expertise in areas such as process optimization, plant reliability, preventive maintenance, inventory management, and food safety compliance.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide operational teams towards achieving strategic objectives.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing complex operational challenges effectively.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices, quality management systems, and relevant regulatory requirements in food processing.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to evolving operational needs.
