As a Manual Tester / QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the integrity of our software. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive manual and functional testing across various web applications to identify defects and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Conduct diverse testing types, including Regression Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and Smoke Testing.
• Utilize tools like Jira for effective defect tracking, test management, and reporting throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Execute database and data migration testing, leveraging SQL queries to validate data integrity and accuracy.
• Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement and collaborative team efforts.
• Adhere strictly to Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Manual Tester or QA Engineer.
• Proficiency in core manual and functional testing methodologies and techniques.
• Demonstrated experience with various testing types, including regression, integration, system, and smoke testing.
• Solid background in creating and executing comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Practical experience with Jira for bug tracking, test case management, and project collaboration.
• Strong SQL skills for database testing and data validation.
• Familiarity with web application testing environments and tools.
• Understanding of STLC, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting. Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
