Lead DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a core, hands-on contributor to the team's projects, actively participating in the planning and design phases across various initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with all stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of infrastructure projects.
• Continuously improve and maintain the availability, scalability, security, and overall operability of software across all technology stacks.
• Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and develop creative solutions that enhance business efficiency.
• Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies that promise long-term benefits and improvements for the organization.
• Establish and advocate for technical best practices, guiding team members in their adoption and implementation.
• Develop and implement long-term solutions for recurring problems, working collaboratively with the team to achieve these strategic goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of dedicated DevOps experience, with a proven track record of managing all aspects of large-scale systems and infrastructure.
• Exceptional proficiency and hands-on experience working within the AWS Cloud ecosystem.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Infrastructure-As-Code (IaC) and Configuration Management tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically using Jenkins, to automate software delivery.
• Proficiency in observability tools, including Prometheus, Statsd, Graphite, Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK Stack).
• Demonstrated expertise in Container Orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of Network and Application Security best practices within AWS environments.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and mentor junior team members, driving team deliverables effectively.
• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or an equivalent degree from a reputed institution.
