Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and efficient data pipelines, ensuring reliable data flow.
• Support critical data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes to guarantee high data availability and accuracy.
• Perform comprehensive data validation and implement rigorous quality checks to uphold the integrity of our datasets.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for effective data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with senior data engineers on advanced data integration projects and various complex engineering tasks.
• Actively identify, analyze, and resolve basic data pipeline issues and data quality anomalies swiftly and efficiently.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data warehousing solutions and the seamless integration of cloud data platforms.

Requirements

• Demonstrated strong knowledge of SQL for efficient data querying, manipulation, and database management.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Python scripting for data processing, automation, and analytical tasks.
• Foundational understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and core data integration concepts.
• Familiarity with data warehousing principles and exposure to various cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Understanding of data quality frameworks, validation methodologies, and best practices.
• Exposure to or a strong willingness to learn big data technologies such as Spark/PySpark is considered a significant advantage.
• Possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. (H4 EAD, US Citizen, and H1B candidates are encouraged to apply).
