Junior Data Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Extract, clean, and meticulously validate data from diverse sources including databases, spreadsheets, and third-party APIs to ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Develop, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries, utilizing joins, subqueries, and basic window functions, to retrieve and analyze data for reporting and analytical purposes.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports using leading business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify significant trends, patterns, anomalies, and correlations that provide valuable insights into business operations and customer behavior.
• Automate routine data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes using Python scripts or advanced Excel functionalities to enhance efficiency.
• Actively collaborate with various internal teams to understand their data requirements, define key performance indicators (KPIs), and tailor reporting solutions to meet their specific needs.
• Prepare and present compelling data-driven insights through comprehensive reports and engaging visualizations, effectively communicating complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection, storage, and analysis processes within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 1 to 3 years of hands-on professional experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a reporting-focused role.
• Demonstrated strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to write complex queries for data extraction and manipulation.
• Advanced-level skills in Microsoft Excel, encompassing Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, data validation, and chart creation.
• Practical experience in building and managing dashboards using either Power BI or Tableau is essential.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python, particularly for data handling, scripting, and automation tasks.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data interpretation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights clearly to various stakeholders.
