Java Developer

Persistent Systems is actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled Java Developer with a strong background in Spring Boot, Microservices, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Implement and manage scalable cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and other engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and company standards.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve functionality and address technical challenges.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic technical decisions for future product development.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Java development, cloud computing, and software engineering.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 to 10+ years of professional experience in Java development is essential for this role.
• Strong expertise in Java programming language, with a deep understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Proven hands-on experience with Spring Boot framework for building enterprise-grade applications.
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying Microservices-based architectures.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as SQL or PostgreSQL, and experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset to tackle complex technical challenges.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
